According to Femi Akintunde-Johnson who is also an associate lecturer at the Nigerian Institute of Journalism, the news anchor Seyitan Atigarin was improperly dressed as she read the news on Thursday, April 20. He made reference to her low-decked neckline and and asked her to review her wardrobe forthwith.

His post drew reactions from other media practitioners. While others agreed with him, others pointed out that the news anchor did not err and that his post was unnecessary.
