Palestines Claim WESTERN JERUSALEM as her capital and needs the world to recognise Palestine as Sovereign state while Jews have said the whole of Jerusalem is her eternal capital and they need to rebuild the Temple to resume their old testament sacrifice for sin atonement and other rituals.
These is the same Temple Solomon built about 3000 years ago,the Babylonians later destroyed it in 586BC by King Nebuchadnezzar and was rebuilt and was known as Herod Temple that Jesus Christ prophesied about in Mathew 24 and was destroyed about 40 years later after Jesus Christ ascended to Heaven by the Romans in 70AD.
Why is the Temple mount so significant to we believers because it’s a pointer to when the rapture of the saints will happen and when the tribulations and Great Tribulations which is a 7 years period will kick start – a time where if you don’t have the mark of the beast for those left behind,you cannot buy or sell(Revelation 13:16-18).
