Liz Truss assumes office as UK Prime Minister.
Earlier today, she visited the Queen of England at the Balmoral Castle where she accepted her Majesty’s request to form a new administration.
This evening she gave her first speech outside Number 10, Downing Street as the new UK Prime Minister.
